It really is worth it to have a trustworthy shipper when shipping a vehicle, especially when you have an experience like I did. A custom top-of-the-line DVD entertainment system was looted from my vehicle in transit, and my initial fear was that I was going to have a hard time getting compensated for the loss. Kim at Dependable Auto Movers was extremely helpful, and the process was about as painless as it could be. All I had to do was get a replacement quote for the items stolen (along with pictures), and they arranged for the trucking company to send me a check for the exact amount. At no time did I have to argue about the amount of the loss or compensation, and the processing was timely and free of delay.
Customers should be cautioned that there is always a risk of loss when shipping a vehicle especially on an open carrier. If you end up having an experience like mine, you'll want to be dealing with a company with Dependable Auto Movers. I'd gladly do business with them again.
