They contracted with Express Delivery Inc (NEVER USE THEM) to move car from Idaho to Boston. Original Quote $935, with $135 to Dependable, $800 to driver. When calling them a couple of days before pickup, Dependable said they couldn't find anyone to take it for $800, but could at $825, so I agreed. Picked up within pickup time slot. To be delivered in 5 to 7 days, 10 max. On day 10 I called. Dependable told me that Express Delivery would call me shortly. They didn't but with a couple of additional phone calls, Express Delivery called and said the car had never left Spokane WA !!!!!!!

Dependable was angry, but were told the same thing I was, that the car would go on a carrier Friday morning to be delivered Tuesday or Wed the following week. No car Tues. No car Wed. After more phone calls finally determined that the driver was in Washington DC and would deliver Thursday night or Friday morning. No car Thursday. Friday afternoon after a flurry of more calls, told that they would deliver Friday night. No car. Saturday morning I got the car.

Dependable dropped $25 of their fee, and Express said they would drop a big chunk of the fee, but only dropped it $50.

The only good thing - I got the car back, nothing was stolen except the toll transponder, which was taken out of the vehicle (I assume this is standard) but not returned to me.

Dependable was ok to do business with, but they seldom return calls. When you get them on the phone, they are pleasant and seem to do a good job, but they sure dropped the ball on this one. The company they contracted with was a known bad actor (which I only learned about after the fact). When we finally got down to the end, the way the delivery finally was made was between the driver Yuri and me talking on his cell phone.

I would probably say they are ok to use, but watch out who they contract with, and make sure that the contractor has a good reputation before you load the car on the carrier.
