We are truly sorry for the inconvenience that this customer was put through, and the customer must still be very upset if waiting 4 months to post this review. All we can say is that it was not bait and switch, it was a human error or actually a couple of errors. At that time, we were having quite a transition period in our office. We hired a new gal to handle some of the quotes and we also hired a new gal in the office. Compounded with the fact that June and July are two of the busiest months of the year, there were also approximately 1500 vehicles in California waiting on trucks. With such a backlog, the drivers were picking the smaller vehicles first and our customer's SUV remained at its origination point. When we figured out the problem, we did speak with the customer about adding a bonus to the truck driver. When he chose not to do so, we spoke with the owner of Dependable Auto Movers to explain the errors on our part and asked her to throw in over half of our fees hoping to get this vehicle moved. We told the customer numerous times that we were having difficulty because of the backlog and that if he wanted to cancel, to just let us know and he would be charged nothing. We continued to diligently call drivers every day, even working overtime on the weekends to try to help this situation. The customer did call and cancel and he got another broker to find a driver and the customer did end up paying more than what we quoted to get his vehicle moved. If you have any questions about this transport or any others, please feel free to give us a call and we would be happy to answer any of your questions.
