Late and lack of communication

From late pick up to late delivery, I had problems. I purposely gave DOM a week prior to the first available date with the thought the car would be picked up on the frist available date. However, it didn't which I understand. Once the pick up was scheduled the driver didn't show up. Once the car was picked up, it took the driver 12 days to arrive. When I emailed DOM to check on the status, I was told it would be here by Friday. When I called the driver a day later, he told me Monday at the earliest. The driver was rude when I spoke to him on phone and acted as if I was causing him burden.

After talking with the driver once he did arrive, I understand where he is coming from. There is a lack of communication between the driver and customer as far as espectations that the broker sets.

Overall, I have to say this experience was very unpleasant. I received a referral for this company but I will not continue the chain of recommendations.I would consider the other company with Dependable in their name.

We understand the frustration our customer felt with this vehicle transport. We encourage all of our customers to read our Terms & Conditions on our website. We cannot guarantee any pick up or delivery dates, they are approximations, which are provided to us by the dispatcher or driver. The signed dispatch sheet that was faxed to us by the trucking company said pickup on 4/23-24 and delivery in 12 days or less. Every time that a customer calls in to check status, we contact the dispatcher or driver and relay whatever information is given to us. Technically, our job is completed when we assign a carrier to move your vehicle but Dependable Auto Movers doesn't stop servicing our customers until the move is complete.
