We were told by Dependable Auto Movers that there would be at least one day advance notice of pick up. The trucking company called during a weekday and said they were on their way over to pick up the car, that they were just a couple of hours away. This was insufficient advance notice since the pickup party could not take off of work immediately to get home in time for the trucker. An alternate truck was dispatched for the following day.

We are so sorry for the inconvenience. Our dispatch sheet, to the driver, asks for 24 hours advance notice to the pickup & destination people. As sometimes this is not feasible they usually only give anywhere from 3 to 8 hours notice. East Coast Haulers worked around the pickup person's schedule & sent another truck the next day.
