Very Stressful Experience

I was helping my father-in-law to ship his vehicle from Washington to New York. When i called the lady was helpful answering all my questions and emailed me a great quote. Like many of you, i shopped around trying to save a few bucks, and DAS really have to best deal out there. After a short conversation, the arrangement was made and everything was set up. There's the "problem".

I am not sure what the customer representative said about the days for the vehicle to be picked up. I would have to approximate about 7-14 days. My wife stayed in the state a bit longer since she will help her dad to drive from Ontario, Canada to NY to pick up the vehicle since her father did not speak English. She was hanging out with me and suddenly, we had a call from the driver stating that the vehicle will be there the next morning at 7am. It takes about 4-5 days to get there!

Now we don't have anyone to pick up there vehicle and he said that he will just "leave the vehicle there". we finally manage to get the vehcile after canceling my father-in-law's medical appointment and getting yelled at.

This is very stressful and i do not recommend anyone to DAS. The driver should have been fired. Not only he is not professional, but he it was difficult to get a hold of him. I should just drove there by myself and not go through all this.
