eBay must be getting paid to select DAS as their 'preferred' shipper

Contracted DAS for a basic car move from GA to NJ. In the days that followed, follow up emails were ignored, and it's virtually impossible to get through their 800 number - "Please enter the extension number or press * for choose by name'. No operator - must go through a bunch of prompts - 'please enter your main contact phone number' - then you get the looping 'please enter your main contact phone number' - what a joke. So after a few days of silence, I finally sent them the cancellation email - "thanks, but not thanks'. Got an email back a day later, 'please sign the attached cancellation form, there's $100 cancellation fee". What?! You want me to agree to a cancellation fee AFTER I cancelled? It gets better, DAS charged the entire amount of the move, approx $500 to my AMEX, yet performed absolutely no service!
