I did a lot of shopping around before deciding on this company since I was shipping from remote California to Ohio. They gave me the best quote and told me it would take no longer than 14 days. They then stated that it would probably be only 7-10 but did not want to under quote me. I was also guaranteed that my car would not leave the carrier between California and Ohio. For these reasons I choose DAS auto shippers. I dropped my vehicle off on July 1 in Medford, OR and was expecting it July 15th into Orient, OH, which was my first day of work. I arranged to have work off July 16th to be able to to pick up my car. On July 12th I checked online and and found my car was waiting to be loadedl and called customer service the next day to find out that my car was going to be late but they could not give me a time because my car was scheduled to be in Washington on the 15th!! I then learned my car needed to be transferred to at least 2 carriers, which I was told would not happen. My car finally arrived in Ohio July 23rd but I could not pick it up until the 25th since I had to take another day off work. My car arrived in good condition on the outside but the inside had mud all over the front floor mat and their were mud stains on my front seat. Someone also went through my change console and cleaned it out!!! I was shocked by the lack of respect!!! I was unaware this company goes through your car!!!!!! Granted it says no personal belongings in the car, I just assumed my change console would be safe. Since my car was late I had to get a rental car for 9 days!!! When I called customer service they apologized and said they typically only give $100 reimbursement for late cars. After many phones calls and speaking to customer service on a daily basis, they agreed to reimburse me $250 which is better, but I had to spend close to $400 to get a rental car. So it really wasn't a good price since I had to take 2 days off work and pay for a rental. This company made me want to never have my car shipped again. I now wish I had just driven across country, do not trust them with your car!!
