I recently shipped two vehicles with DAS. A 1947 Studebaker and a 1998 Jeep Cherokee. The Studebaker arrived without incident aside from it taking a month for delivery. They give you an estimated time of delivery of 14 days when in fact both of my vehicles sat in California for the first 14 days. When I picked up my Jeep in Detroit, everything from the glove box and center console were all over the floor (as if someone was looking for something!) and a big hole in the dashboard where the radio was. What I couldn't believe is that they said nothing to me when I picked the car up! If they "inspect" the vehicles like they say they do, how would you not notice the gaping hole in the dash with wires hanging out? When I went back in to report the problem, they were not apologetic or even surprised that something was stolen from the vehicle. I am still working on the claim and I have a feeling they won't cover it. Find someone else to ship your cars!
