This is the 4th time I used DAS for shipping my car. I received a car via DAS in 2004 and used them to ship in 2008. Last year when I had to ship a car from Little Rock, AR to Philly, I got all kinds of low ball offers on the net. One aggressive scumbag added my name under his company's service and I later learnt this was to prevent other companies from even considering my car for shipping. To rub it in, this was and still is one of the most highly rated transport companies on this website and a sponsor. Just goes to show the meaning of 'bias' when you get your recommendations.
DAS gave a quote that was reasonable for the distance and the uncommon transport route. Dropped the car off and picked it up well within the initial estimate. For the move his year from Philly to LA, the quote I received was on par with others and because of prior experience with DAS, I opted to go with them. As before, the car was ready for pickup early. The car was undamaged and was also washed prior to delivery.
Would certainly use DAS again if I have to. At the minimum, it would save me from a lot of time wasted dealing with crooks in this business.
