Car Damaged During Transport

Originally, I would have given this relocation a decent review but a number of things occurred in the delivery that completely turned me off to the experience. The pickup in Washington state went very well and I found the driver to be professional and courteous. Setting up the quote was hassle free and the customer service on the front end was good. I purposedly chose this company even though they were not the cheapest.
The first issue is the timing of the delivery. Originally, the company told me it would take up to 18 days for delievery of the car, which I was fine with because I was also driving across country and it would give me time to get settled. The auto was actually much earlier than 18 days so much so that I had to change my travel plans driving cross country to arrive in time to deliver the car.
The second problem and this is much more disturbing was the actual drop off. The two people who called to drop off the car did not speak very much English at all (they were eastern European) and they told me that they could only drop it off around 9 PM at night. They ended up arriving around 10 PM when it was completely dark out and they were less than friendly. It is extremely hard to inspect a car when it is dark out but the car was so covered in bugs from the trip that it was hard to see the status of the paint. I spent a good 15 minutes going over the car while the drivers glared at me and eventually I signed off on the delivery.
I come to find out that there is significant damage to the underside of my car on the passenger side where it appears that the car was damaged trying to get it off the truck. I didn't notice this when the car was delivered because they parked that side of the car close to the curb so I couldn't see it.
I believe that this is deliberate and so was the drop off time at night so that I couldn't see the damage to my car.
Given the price of the transport and the these issues described above, I would definitely not recommend using DAS in the future. I think that DAS used a subcontractor carrier for the delivery and as a result, they didn't do a good job. One of the reasons I chose DAS originally and paid additional money over other relocation companies was that I thought DAS would use their own people for all facets of the relocation. It appears that I was wrong.
