I booked with DAS because I was moving from California to Pennsylvania. I dropped off my car on May 30, 2008 to the Gardena, CA terminal with being told my car would arrive on June 13th at the Bristol, PA terminal with that being a total of 14 days. I arrived in Pennsylvania on May 31 and got a rental car up to the date that I was expected to receive my car from DAS. As the time is getting closer, my car still didn't leave. So then I kept calling customer service and the first time they told me that my car should be assigned within the next couple of days and that there were other cars that took higher priority and said that was why my car was delayed.

I sent an email to customer service and then I got a response that said the Customer Service rep sent over an ICS ticket to their operations department so they can get an exact ETA. The response from ICS was that my car's adjusted ETA was June 24. My car already sat on the terminal for 2 weeks and that meant my car would sit at the terminal for another week. I ended up cancelling and had my parents pick up my car today. DAS said corporate has to cut me a refund check and mail it to me. I better get it otherwise I will sue and will include all the costs that I had to fork out for rental cars while my car was sitting in their terminal.

My car is now being shipped through another auto transport company that has an average 5 star rating and it's going to cost me $241 less and I will get door-to-door service. Whatever you do DO NOT USE DAS!!!
