Dependable Auto Shippers was an absolutely horrible company to work with, and I would NEVER use them again. It took them 30 days to deliver our Toyota van from California to Kentucky, after promising to deliver it in 12 days.

Naturally, I spent A LOT of time on the phone with them. Wait times were atrocious. I often had to listen to their recorded music for over 30 minutes, along with an occasional recording telling me my call would be answered within the next 5 minutes. Terrible!

They were sending emails about my transaction to the wrong address... even though they had the correct email address on the original order, which I used to PROVE to them that this mess-up was their error. They were sending emails about my car to a totally different customer who used their services 6 months before I did. Until I proved to them that I had given them the correct email address, they were trying to blame me for the problem.

Once I proved to them that they had messed up and were sending emails to the wrong address, they reluctantly agreed to provide a rental car (after they were already two weeks late). Even during that process, they were rude and difficult to deal with. They also provided a compact car as a substitute while we were waiting for our minivan. Hmmm... wouldn't it make sense to provide a car of roughly the same size? Not to them.

Please heed my warning and avoid this company.

We are sorry to hear of the difficulty this customer had. DAS will not ship a vehicle until the move is paid for. This explained in the pre-shipment paperwork and the contract. While the pre-shipment paperwork may have been sent to the wrong e-mail address, the contract was handed to the customer at time of pick up. Addtionally, several attempts were made to reach this customer by telephone to resolved this issue. After finally receiving payment, the vehicle was transported in 13 days.
