Our contract with DAS was, by far, the worst business transaction we have ever had. It started out fine- the car was picked up when they said it would be. However, when we called the day before they said the car would be delivered (since no one had yet contacted us to say when it would arrive)they told us the car was still in MA (we were expecting it the next day in TN). We were informed that we had not paid for the shipping, and that "numerous" attempts had been made to contact us. This is false. No calls had been made to either phone number we left with the company... so since they "could not" get in touch with us (because no one ever called), they just left the car sitting there in MA.

When we called (and paid) for the car over the phone, they told us to call back in 4 days to find out when the car would leave MA. In the meantime, we had to get a rental car at our own expense, AND found out that DAS charged us MORE than they said they would (without ever telling us) for STORING the car that they did not ship on time.

Our contact, Brad, was helpful about telling us where the car was once it finally left, but did not offer to pay for the storage fee or any portion of our rental car. After being without our car for over three weeks (we were prepared for two), we will NEVER do business with DAS or recommend them to anyone.
