DAS provides excellent service

We needed to have our 2002 Ford Thunderbird shipped from Richmond, California to Oklahoma City. We contacted a couple of vehicle transport services online before calling Dependable Auto Shippers (DAS). The quotes we received were all over $1000. We found DAS in the yellow pages and when I called the 800 number, I talked with Richard. Richard was very courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. He quoted the price of $765 to ship our vehicle on the upper deck of an open transport truck. He also said the vehicle should be delivered in 6-12 days.

We dropped off our vehicle at the San Lorenzo, California office on Wednesday, July 15, 2009. The employees there were very courteous and thorough. Michael inspected the vehicle for dents and dings and documented them on their inspection form. He found tiny scratches we hadn't even noticed.

We were given a tracking number so we could follow the movement of our vehicle across country. Since we were going to be in Oklahoma City from July 22-28, we were hopeful the vehicle would arrive while we were there. On Friday evening, July 17, the vehicle was in Mojave, California. On Saturday it was in Sanders, Arizona. On Sunday it was in Memphis, Texas. On Monday it was in Mesquite, Texas. When we arrived in Oklahoma City late Tuesday, July 21, the vehicle was in Adair, Oklahoma. At 7:30 on Wednesday morning, we received a call from Arrow Wrecker Service that our vehicle was in Oklahoma City and would be ready for pick up that afternoon. When we went to pick up the vehicle, it had been washed and inspected. Not a sign of any damage.

We could not have been more pleased with the timeliness of the delivery and the condition of our vehicle.
