DAS sent me a quote for shipping a car that I was in the process of negotiating a purchase on. When I called to schedule the pick-up of the vehicle, DAS said that their estimate was in error (due to a supposed computer "glitch") and that I had to pay another $1000!!!! To top it off, the fella from DAS was INCREDIBLY RUDE about the whole thing. Don't trust anything verbally or even in writing from these folks . . .
