Ebay Preferred? Not DAS, Find someone else

So DAS is the preferred eBay Motors shipper? These guys are TERRIBLE. What kind of kickback does DAS give to eBay? My car sat at the terminal for 14 days, shipped to a second destination, sat a few more, shipped to a third location, sat, and finally shipped to the final destination - a total of 22 days to deliver.

Now, the best part. They ran into it during those 4 moves. Damaged the bumper and grill. I doubt I will ever recoup this loss, but I will try. DAS has a $250 dollar deductable, so I am at least out this amount.
Further, the car at pickup was a mess inside and out. Not cleaned, filthy, a general mess.

The pickup location was right out of the movies.... a tow lot with a nice junkyard dog.

Another DAS feature - NO on-line tracking. You have to make a phone call every time. They only called me when it was delivered. You thought they would have at least called me notifying me of the shipping delay, but that would take some sort of customer service belief. Further, they never sent me the inspection report as specifically requested 3 different times.

The only reason I went with DAS was it was recommended and used by my auto broker. My poor experience matches what a lot have said on this site. I should have found another shipper after reading some of these earlier reviews. Should have used my gut on this one.

So DAS is the preferred eBay car shipper? Think again. Do yourself a favor.... find someone else.
