I purchased a car on Ebay on November 19,2010. I was recommended to go with DAS because the seller had always used them and they were the most reasonable. Well i have been waiting on my vehicle since then and today is Dec 12th. I was told by the manager that the clutch in the truck broke on Dec 1st and the truck is in a small town outside of Mesquite TX and they are working to get the truck fixed. Everyday since the estimated delivery date of Dec 1st i have called to see if the truck has been fixed and every time i call the customer service dept. tells me that it takes time to fix a truck and it should be completed by the end of the day!!! When i asked could they just send another truck to pick up the vehicles they stated that they did not have any other trucks available and it would be less time just to wait and get the broken truck fixed. I then posed the question, what if i just hire another trucking company to come and pick up the vehicle or i can just come and get the vehicle where it is and DAS quickly told me no and that was not an option. They said the truck had to be at a drop off location in order to release my vehicle to ME the owner. I called back to customer service and spoke with the manager about the situation and he offered to rent me a vehicle which was the only thing i have been pleased with thus far. My dilemma now is my vehicle needs to be titled withing the next 5 days but my car is still on a broken down truck and i still do not have an estimated time of arrival. I am HIGHLY disappointed with this service and i wouldn't recommend this to anyone!!
