Not so Dependable auto Shippers

When I purchased the Vehicle in Texas, one of the dealer's recomended shippers was Dependable auto Shippers. I took bids on U-ship and decided to go with DAS. Not the cheapest but I have seen them around the area for some time. I talked to a sales person at DAS who took the entire payment and said that they ship many cars for the dealer and had all ready talked to them and they would drop the car off that night or in the morning. I should expect delivery in 10-12 days. I checked their tracking and it confirmed that it would be delivered 12 days later. On the 12th day I called because no one had contacted me to set up delivery. They stated they didn't have my car and didn't know were it was even though they had a delivery date scheduled. The car was found at the dealer and dropped off later that day. DAS stated it would be at least 14 days before it would be delivered. This time I followed the tracking daily and on the 14th day it arrived at the local terminal. No call. I called them, they had never seen my car. Main office insisted they had it, no wait it's in Minnesota, not Milwaukee, but we will have it there in 4-5 days. It arrived 2 days later,in the pouring rain making the walk around inspection difficult. The next morning I noticed the windshield is cracked and they refuse to repair it saying its normal road hazard. They are a much bigger hazard. BEWARE
