Having never used a service like this before we were a little sceptical of the process and of the companies the preform this service . We lucked out. We were pleased with the constant contact by Diesel representative's through out the entire transaction. There was a delay in the original pickup date. This was due to the lack of information we provide as to the particular location of our car that was to be picked up. We failed to note that the address was on a narrow street and down a hill. This caused Diesel to have to return with a smaller truck to be able negotiate the narrow street. This did add a day or so to the original pickup date.
We had asked that the car not be started as we felt that the amount of oil in the car might be extremely low due to an oil leak and the amount of time the car spent in storage that the battery might be dead. The manufacture states that to recharge the battery it must be removed from the car and bench charged only. Diesel confirmed that they did start the car. They did check the oil level prior to jumping the car in a method that they say has been used on such types of cars in the past with success. This allowed them to drive the car out to the tow truck . We were concerned when received the car, so we started the car, which turned over and started right up with no apparent problem caused by the jumping of the car.
The car was delivered on time and communication was good with the driver. He was able to show us the report taken on the cars condition before they moved it. The report was accurate and no additional damage was found on the exterior of the car.
Over all we were pleased with our experience with Diesel and would use them again.
