Direct Connect Auto Transport

Due to a automobile accident, we needed to transport a vehicle from Florida to Maryland. Although we were not in a hurry, we needed the transport to be done within a 1 week period. Being that we reside in FL and needed to transport this vehicle straight north to Maryland, we wanted a shipper whose office was in Florida. After looking on-line, reading on-line reviews, then verifying with the Better Business Bureau, and verifying the company's status with the State of Florida corporation records, we contacted Direct Connect Automobile Transport. The phone was promptlly answered by a very energetic, well-spoken and polite, Mike Grosso. Although, we were still apprehensive not having had to do this before, and had a list of questions, Mike did a great job. He answered all our questions and was smart enough call our attention to issues that we had not yet thought about. It had been a stressful week, as one could imagine, and Mike was there to not let this add to our stress. Now, after answering all our questions, it was time to sign a contract. So on a Friday night at 6:30 pm after a long week, we sat down to read the contract. It was easy to read and had provisions to protect the transport company as well as our interest in our vehicle. We were still a little nervous and read the contract page by page, and of course, had more questions. We called Mike and would you believe he answered his cell phone. Unbeliveable client service. Once again, he answered all our questions, in a realistic, honest perspective. So, we electronically signed the contract and gave him our credit card number. Yikes! Well, the next day, Saturday, Mike called to say that he had a driver lined up to pick up the car and asked what day we would like it picked up. We decided on a Wednesday, and the driver, Leon, showed up as expected. What a nice guy he was, smart, thoughtful and made a very nice appearance. He evaluated the exterior and interior of the vehicle, and then we signed the Bill of Lading. He wanted to make sure the car was transported safely and on-time and throughout his trip we texted and exchanged calls. He was a super nice guy, and we would definitely have him drive for us again. Throughout the trip, Direct Connect, would send us emails advising on the status of our transport, and it made the process less nerve-wracking. Mike Grosso called after the car had reached its destination to make sure all was well, and of course it was. Mike is a class-act and an excellent representative for Direct Connect. For those of you reading this post who are apprehensive, you won't be sorry going with Direct Connect. We will use them again, and even if you're not traveling straight up the east coast as we were, they can get your car safely almost anywhere in the US. We could not have been happier and think of Mike and Leon as family! We've even told them that whenever their in the Sarasota area, to please look us up!
