In January 2018 I called Direct Connect and spoke with Kristen who quoted me $850.00 to send my Dads car from Pompano Beach Florida to Rocky Hill Connecticut.
I told her that my parents would not want to have their car shipped until the end of March, and specifically asked if we needed to pay in January. She said no, I only need a few days.
My Dad called in March and was quoted $1200.00 to ship the car back. My Dad asked about the quote and she said she couldn't honor that because his car took up two spots.
I called her later that day and told her she knew the make and model in January and we would have gladly paid then. She was so rude, she should be fired. As a manager who deals with the public, she was disgusting! She hung up on me! What nerve!
I called back and talked to Tony who was extremely nice and said he would honor the $850.00 charge.
After waiting to hear back from Tony who was a sweet talker with his "Baby I will take care of this" and "I will find you a carrier, don't worry" To make a long story short, after many promises my Mom and Dad cancelled their flight and had to drive home. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
