After booking my vehicle with Direct (and paying $150 up front), I never heard a word from them. I had to be the one to initiate communication to find out what was going on with my order. No emails, no calls...nothing. After 9 days of waiting for my vehicle just to get booked, I had had enough (they said 1-7 days for pick-up). I went with another carrier for only $75 more and had my vehicle booked within 2 days and delivered 7 days from first contact with the other carrier.
Only advice I have is the cheapest quote is not always your best bet. If you are looking for outstanding customer service and confidence in a shipping company, you may find better elsewhere.
