From time Direct Express Auto Transport took my down payment to the time that my car was picked up by a carrier was 22 days wait! Company says on their website that 90% of cars get picked up between 1-7 days and that carriers are always going across country (which is true) unless a delay of bad weather or smaller cities transportation. I'm pretty sure Washington DC to Phoenix, Arizona are large cities and there should be no reason it took this long. After calling company 3 times and them saying they would "flag" the car - which did nothing - finally gave them a really hard time over the phone and the next day we got an email saying a carrier has been assigned to our car. It shouldn't require lots of nagging and phone calls to get them to act - this broker company may be large and "the best" but be prepared for a long wait. Once car was delivered, we had no problems with driver and arranging a pickup time and location.
