I needed to ship a car from Utah to North Carolina and used many of the search engines to get quotes. The quotes ranged from $600-$1500 and I received many emails and phone calls to ship my vehicle. Since time was not an issue I was able to use TransportReviews to check the reviews on each of the companies. There is not a perfect company out there and the stories from the brokers are all the same.
Direct Express Transport did not show up on any of my searches. I had used them to ship a previous car and went back and found their name. I went directly to their site and obtained a quote in 15 seconds without giving out my name or phone number. To my surprise the quote was on the low end of the range I had been seeing. Too good to be true? I took a gamble and paid the $199 booking fee online and put down my availability date which was a week out. After not hearing anything from them after 5 days I sent an email and got a quick response that they will let me know once a company has agreed to transport the car. A day before my availability I received an email from Direct Express telling me the pickup date and delivery date and name of the trucking company.
The trucker actually picked up the car a day early and delivered the car a day early. No damage only a dirty car from having traveled over 2000 miles.
I would highly recommend Direct Express Transport. I did not have any issues and the price was fair!
