Just one day after submitting a request online, I was given the carrier's information via email. I called and requested the carrier's insurance information. The rep was very nice and sent the information in an email later that day. The price I was quoted was also the lowest I got from 7 companies.
I was informed that the carrier would contact me as soon as they have recieved the order. I was kind of in a hurry to ship the vehicle, so I didn't wait. I called the carrier the next day, and I spoke with Christopher at DoubleEE Auto Transport. He was very courteous, found the order right away, and called back a few hours later that day to inform me the truck has been arranged. Christopher called me when there were slight changes to the schedule. Although the truck ended up leaving a day later than was originally scheduled, everything worked out ok because it was Labor Day weekend.
The car was very dirty, but it wasn't the company's fault. It's kind of unavoidable when it's an open carrier and my car happed to be the first one loaded on. The back end of the car was encrusted with bug guts and dust from sitting at the front of the truck in a 4 day trip.
If Direct Express is able to find such reliable carriers everytime, I will definately use them again.
