After looking on Web, I contacted a "broker" about transporting my car from Cincinnati area to Los Angeles. Within hours I had several ( I mean "Several" !!!) emails and then More phone calls from at least 10 different trucking companies giving me quotes. Quotes ran from 625.00 to 875.00. A friend told me he had used Direct Express and was pleased with their service. It happens that they were the least expensive bidder. I contacted Direct Express and paid a deposit. I was emailed in two days that a driver would be contacting me soon. The Driver, Walter, called me that afternoon and asked when he could get the car the next day. We agreed on a time and Walter was there right when he said he would be. It was below 15 degrees but he patiently filled out the form and gently loaded the car. That was Friday night...On Tuesday he called and asked if he could deliver the car on Weds morning. He was right on time and the car was perfect. WE gave him an extra 50.00. I wish all companies were this good.
