My situation for this shipment required that the car be picked up prior to my flight to Florida, leaving me only 8 days. I spoke with a representative from Direct Express giving me an approximate date range for pickup. On my own, I added $100 to the quoted shipping cost as an incentive to bidding carriers.
This seemed to work as I had a truck assigned the very next day (Friday) and by Tuesday evening, my car was on a truck.
Communication with the transport company, Zareba Auto Transport, was very good. They stuck to the quoted schedule and my car arrived in 8 days, despite the 2,800 mile trip and several probable stops.
This was my second experience using Autotransportdirect.com. I got two winners in a row.
