i tried to post a review on this website for a company that i thought was the worst, most fraudulent shipping company ever, but this website deleted it. not sure why; perhaps it was too honest. after i dealt with that company (all star discount auto transport), i found direct express auto transport. i was having tons of issues with actually getting my car shipped to me in california, from my parents house in wisconsin. i was really frustrated and about to give up when i stumbled upon autotransportdirect.com.

i filled out my information, got a quote, realized the quote seemed a little too good to be true, and immediately called them questioning what other expenses i could expect to incur. i was informed that that would be the final price (unless i overstuffed it or it was an inoperable vehicle, then obviously i would have to pay more), the deposit was a REFUNDABLE $150, and i would pay the driver $550 upon delivery. that sounded good to me so i agreed.

i spoke with brittany on the phone who was incredibly personable and helpful. i told her of all my previous shipping woes and she apologized for the horrible customer service that my parents and i experienced while working with that other awful company. even though it was absolutely not her fault for their rudeness, she still took it upon herself to apologize and reassure that they werent anything like that. she was correct.

i set up my shipment on thursday, and by friday, a driver had picked it off the board. my jeep was delivered to me the next friday. the driver actually lived about ten minutes from my parents back in wisconsin so it was fairly convenient.

i would highly recommend this company. they are POLITE, efficient and actually do what they say they will do. also, if for some reason they cant find you what you are looking for, your deposit is refundable.
