I wish I would have done this before. I have made quite a few trips by auto from NY to Florida and reverse. When you figure it out it is just about the same cost to grab a cheap airline ticket and have your car delivered to your destination. In addition, you save a lot of boring and sometimes nerve racking road time, staying at roadside hotels and eating meals at those highway chain restaurants.
I certainly will continue to have my car shipped.
