I called Direct Auto Transport to ship my 98 Avalon to Indiana from California. I received a confirmation shortly after however, the confirmation didn't contain any of the information I provided. I had hoped it was there for confirmation as the clerk whom I've spoken to never really confirmed the information for accuracy. The next day I got an email that I've been assigned a truck and the driver called the next day to pick it up.
When the driver picked up the car, he did a quick inspection that took less than 5 minutes, basically noting scratches, dents, and chips. I noticed the the receipt had the wrong model - it said camry while the car was an avalon. Although the driver said it was okay, I was a little nervous as the receipt had no other identifiers for the car and I had a set of tires in the back. However, since the agency was certified with the better business bureau (the only one to be, other are either not there or have a poor rating - poor as in F/D in an A-F scale).
My trust seemed well founded as the car arrived next tuesday(driver picked it up wednesday the week before) safe and sound with no problems at all.
The only gripe I would have is that there was no confirmation for accuracy. Other than that, excellent.
