I tried to have a car shipped from DC to California and had a deadline date. I was notified that the car was picked up and was going to be delivered. I found out the next week that the car had not been picked up (not by Dolphin). I was unable to get a response on many attempts and when I did it was a constant promise of "we will find someone and get it done". It cost me more money to have the car towed to a storage facility and wait for a competent shipping company to deliver it. I had the car picked up in one day from another company. I also made the mistake of arranging another vehicle pick-up at the same time. The driver could not get a hold of the facility where the car was being stored on the first call and decided to cancel the transport. Dolphin did not contact me about this vehicle either. I contacted the driver directly and found out that the car was not picked up and the order was canceled. I am waiting for a refund for the payment on the first car and dolphin refuses to refund the other so I am out the costs of towing and storage that was charged because of their incompetence as well as the fees for the second car which was never delivered. They are friendly enough, but so is every scammer as they take you money.
