I made the reservation for a specific delivery date over a month in advance and was given a pick up date. This was continually confirmed, and I puchased a plane ticket for my son to fly to the pick up city. The driver called the day of the pick up and said he would pick up the car that evening and get it to the delivery city three days before my son would arrive. If I did not ship it that day, my car would be delivered 1- 2 weeks later. We arranged for a friend to pick up the car. The driver did not show up to pick up the car or call, but came the next day when I was at work. It all worked out in the end, but shows that the truck drivers do whatever they want.
