THE 1960 CADILLAC (SUBJECT SHOW AUTO) WAS DELIVERED TO A LIGHTED WAREHOUSE SITE WHERE IT COULD BE LOADED UNDER LIGHTS. IT WAS DRIVEN TO THE SITE & WHEN IT WAS BEING LOADED IT WAS DESCOVERD THE BACK OF THE TRAILER COULD NOT BE CLOSED BECAUSE OF THE TAIL FINS OF THE CADILLAC. THE CADILLAC WAS REMOVED & 6 OR 7 OF THE OTHER CARS WHERE REMOVED AND SHOFFELED AROUND TO ALLOW A SPACE FOR THE CADDI. THE CADDI WAS DRIVEN ON & OFF A NUMBER OF TIMES WITH NO PROBLEMS. THE CADDI HAS A RESCENTLY PROF'L'Y. REBUILT ENG. & THERE WERE NO PROBLEMS DURING LOADING. HOWEVER, WHEN IT ARRIVED IN WASHINGTON, THE CARS MOTOR WOULD NOT TURN OVER OR START. AS THOUGH IT WAS JAMBED OR SOMETHING. THE ENG. ALSO APPEARD TO HAVE BEEN TAMPERD WITH. THE CARRIER PUSHED THE CAR OFF THE TRUCK BY HAND & LEFT IT BY THE CURB IN THE STREET. HE SEEMED TO BE IN A HURRY TO GET HIS MONEY & BE ON HIS WAY. I ASSUMED HE HAD A SCHEDULE TO MEET. I'M TAKING IT TO OUR MECHANIC'S SHOP IN HOPES HE'LL BE ABLE TO DERTERMINE THE PROBLEM & HOW IT ACCURED. HE ONLY TAKES THESE SHOW CARS WHEN HE FINDS TIME & SPACE FOR THEM IN HIS SHOP, SO IT MY BE TWO OR THREE WEEKS BEFORE HE CAN GET TO IT. I'LL LET YOU KNOW OF HIS FINDINGS.
THIS IS NO REFLECTION ON "DOMESTIC AUTO TRANSPORT". I AM VERY PLEASED ON HOW I WAS TREATED BY MALIA OF YOUR FIRM & I'LL USE YOUR FIRM IN THE FUTURE TO MOVE ANY OTHER CARS.
