Recently I had to relocate from Denver CO to Austin TX. Read a lot of reviews on the internet to know the differences between good companies and the online agents who promise a low quote and charge more during the actual delivery. The same evening I requested for online quote on one of the moving websites. The next day my inbox was filled with quotes (So may be its better not to enter your main email id :) ..) As was expected, the range of quotes where too low to too high, maybe it was from $325 to $900. So I chose a mover with mid range quote/better reviews and called up David whose quote was $500($100 deposit and $400 at delivery). Since I had a spare car, I did not worry too much about the delay in transport, but surprisingly the car was delivered as promised by David Jenkins( 4 days- 1 day extra for the labor day holiday),and with out any hassle from the driver. So my advice if you are looking for a car shipper is to do your research with all the reviews available online and then select a mid range quote. Avoid quotes that are too good to be true, because there are chances that they will delay the delivery significantly or else add additional charges if drivers don't agree. David Jenkins,was very prompt with his service and definitely would check with him first the next time, if at all I need to ship my car.
