I called the company to have my car shipped from Pembroke Pines to Paterson N.J. Based on the price advertised I called the company and
spoke to Michael Hurst. He told me the total shipping cost was $625.00 for pick up and delivery, and that I had to give a deposit of $175.00 with a remaining balance of $450.00 to be paid to the driver when the car is delivered. I was unaware that I was talking to a broker and that the deposit was a brokerage fee. The company he referred for shipping car contacted me and demanded $625.00 for shipping the car. I told the driver I have already given a $175.00 non-refundable deposit the driver informed me they have not received a deposit, and the money I paid was a brokerage fee which has nothing to do with their company. I called and texted Michael explaining to him that he had not been honest with me in regards to the shipping cost and delivery. He has refused to answer my calls or reply to my texts. The car was not delivered to the address, my sister had to meet the driver at a shopping center to pick up the car. When she got the car the inside was soaking wet with puddles. It had been raining and the driver left the car windows down.
