Elite Cars VA recently transported my vehicle from Texas to North Carolina. Damage occurred to the vehicle in transit, and an insurance claim was made by the company through their insurance provider to have the damage repaired. The company responsible for the repairs was left a check to cover the amount of the repair, less Elite Cars VA policy’s insurance deductible amount, by the insurance adjuster. This deductible amount was paid out of pocket by myself upon completion of the repairs to my vehicle. This deductible amount ($500) is owed to me and was promised by Elite Cars VA via email on September 29th, 2014. I have not received this amount. I have submitted a formal letter to the shipper demanding payment within 14 days, which has lapsed. I have filed a formal complaint with DOT, who will be investigating the shipper.
