Non-delivery of service, lack of communication

Avoid this company at all costs. We were promised an early Jan delivery date, then got repeated excuses re: delays. We paid the initial deposit, then were informed that a higher deposit was needed due to "additional costs". Once final payment was received, they became impossible to contact. Repeated email were ignored, phone calls were not answered. When we noted that payment was made to Elliott Transport but deposited to another account, we threatened by email to cancel payment- THAT email was IMMEDIATELY answered stating they did business under both names. Afterward, they became completely uncommunicative again. When we received notice of yet another delay that would require us to repeat the Coggins tests at our expense, we fired them and contacted our credit card company to request a refund. We were then contacted by someone (we suspect the owner) presenting herself as a "transport mediator" requesting that we continue to employ them. We refused. Elliott is unprofessional, rude, deceptive and uncommunicative. There are several reputable companies out there. Find someone else.
