I contacted 2 other transportation companies who were honest and told me that due to the location of the pick up (Mission, TX) that they could not honor the 7 day pick up time as advertised. One told me that it could take weeks to get a driver willing to go down there for the quoted price (around $800) and that I would have to consider adding another 100-200 dollars as an incentive to get a driver to go out of his way to pick it up. I understood the logistics but tried one more company (Evergreen Transport). I spoke to Katie at Evergreen and she said she could have a driver availble to pick up the next day! I was skeptical considering what the other 2 companies had told me but sure enough the driver was able to pick it up 2 days later only because the seller of the car was not availble the next day. The sub-contractor was Triple J Trucking and they were nothing less than PERFECT in their communication, timeliness and care of the vehicle. I could not have asked for a better experience as far as transportation goes. Maybe it was just good timing that the driver was down there but the fact is Evergreen and Triple J Trucking were able to stand by their quote and had the car delivered to me sooner than two other companies could even pick the car up! As far as the price, this was better than average for an open trailer when I was receiving quotes, $829 minus the $100 rebate.
