We appreciate your business Joe and worked hard for you. We did find a carrier right after we took his order but then found out his vehicle wasn't actually ready yet so we had to let that carrier go. Sometimes one carrier calls and sometimes several carriers call on an order- we don't know what will happen until it happens. That's just the nature of our industry. I did correspond with Joe a lot during the process and sent him at least one screen shot showing that we were within the price range of what the carriers were charging for a vehicle like his on his route. If we are having a hard time finding a carrier then the only thing to do is to raise the offer to the carrier. There are thousands of routes through out the US and to try to predict when prices will change on each route is just unheard of and would drive a person crazy. Every route changes at different times and some routes were still within the prices that the national load board reflects so why overcharge all of our clients unnecessarily? If we are having a hard time finding a carrier then the price for that route has probably gone up without being reflected on the national load board yet. Throughout the correspondence I told him this several times and at times he didn't want to raise his offer to the carrier knowing that it may take longer to find a carrier. We gave him an honest quote and did give him honest advise through out the process. It is out of our control when we find a carrier but the customer service we offered him was within our control and we did correspond with him and gave him honest advise more than with most clients. The star that he deducted from us was for a reason that was out of our control.
