Some misunderstanding

There is a disconnect between customer expectations and what this, or any, vehicle transport BROKER delivers. I didn't understand the way the system works, so I did not advocate on my behalf until I was unsatisfied. Once i called in and talked to Maria directly rather than using any customer service person that picks up the phone, things ran smoothly. This happened after six days though. Then it was another few days before a driver was found. All in all, it took about a week more than I thought it would. Almost two weeks from vehicle ready to actual pick up.

It doesn't help that ANYONE who is having a vehicle delivered is like a kid at Christmas. Any delay is almost intolerable, so note that when you see super bad reviews about delays. on the other hand, the overall shipping system is flawed in the sense that customers aren't given the true options for shipping. For example, I might be willing to pay an extra 100.00 to have the vehicle shipped a week earlier if necessary, but not 300.00 to have a guaranteed shipping time. With that ability though would also come the reality that if a truck were already passing through that point at a particular time, I wouldn't HAVE to pay the extra.

I've heard there's an ebay-like bidding system where you put you needs up and trucking companies bid on the price. This sounds like a good idea...
