Like many others I was very concerned about shipping an auto across country. After a lot of research, I decided to try Express Auto. Their prices was $995 and not the highest or the lowest bid. I was shipping an auto for my son who was in the military and being transferred across county. I found Express Auto to be friendly, professional, and available when I needed them. They answer the phone as they advertise and always ask you whether they can provide further clarification or assistance. They worked very closely with me in picking a proper pickup date to ensure the vehicle was delivered when needed. They stayed in touch and gave me a follow up call to determine whether the delivery had been made to my satisfaction. If you have a claim they will also assist in the claim processing. They also belong to the BBB in their area, which I checked out prior to signing on with them. The only confusion in the process involved the delivery date when first talking with the contracted truck driver. I would recommend that before the vehicle is picked up you confirm delivery dates with your driver especially if you are trying to time a delivery. You don't want the vehicle to arrrive before you do unless you have somebody accepting the vehicle on the other end. In my case, there was a little confusion with this date but the driver was more than willing to work it out. My driver was John of Iron Horse Car Carriers Inc. out of Clarkton, NC. I would recommend him to my relatives, that is how reliable and good this guy is. He tells you when he will pick up the car and stays in touch if the pickup time is altered in any way. He maintains a call in answering machine on his cell phone. The machine always updates you on where he is with your car, if he does not pick up the call. He went way beyond what was expected. My car was delivered to Phoenix and he stayed around in Phoenix for an additional 10 hours to ensure my son got his car. He actually got to Phoenix before my son and decided to wait. The car was delivered in perfect condition. The service could not have been better. I was very pleased with Express Auto and especially Iron Horse Car Carriers.
