After contracting with Fairway Auto Transport for $600 and making the deposit of $175, I was told to pay the balance of $425 to the carrier, (Abdul's Towing Transport) upon their delivery. However, when Abdul's towing arrived with the car, they demanded $800 before they would release it and showed me their contract with "Advance Logistics" who evidently was funneled in by Fairway without my knowledge or consent!
Through investigation, I learned that NEITHER Fairway or Advance Logics have legitimate businesses to contact in the U.S and have no stationed address or legitimate business address to serve legal papers for suit or bank accounts in the U.S. nor can their license number (557953) be tracked in any city or State in the U.S.; AND to confirm this, the deposit I made of $175 had to be wired to a bank in Tijuana Mexico!!
