I brokered transportation of my newly purchased 2008 BMW 335i through on 11/24 coming from NJ to AZ. The company that I transacted business with is Patriot Auto Carriers who have been very helpful throughout the process. The car was picked up by F & S Auto Carriers on 11/27 and subsequently received damage to the bumper during transportation to AZ that was not there upon pickup. At my request, the seller documented the condition of the vehicle an hour before it was picked up by F & S Auto Carriers. The driver's name was Chuck and his number is 520.331.xxxx. I pointed out the damage immediately upon arrival and have provided F & S pictures of the vehicle that were taken just before going on the carrier at my request to the seller. Subsequent to this, I have obtained two written estimates for the damage and have made repeated requests with Courtney of F & S Auto Carriers to resolve the situation. I have made 17 phone calls and have sent 5 e-mails as of 12/22/2009, three weeks after the car was dropped off. I have yet to hear from the owner, Christian Spangler and have now been told that he is unavailable and will not be "bothered" by business from Courtney until January 4th. I am utilizing this forum in an attempt elicit a response from F & S Auto Carriers before we all encounter more costs associated by involving my attorney and making F & S Auto Carriers responsible for the damage along with attorney's costs and court fees, potentially doubling or tripling the dollar amount of the original damage claim.
