F&S Auto Carriers took the job from the brokers New Way. New Way pretty much screwed us over before F&S got involved. Anyways, our 53 Ford was picked up on the date F&S said they would, (1-11-10) but it never left their locked yard until 1-21-10, that's 10 days sitting there waiting on the trailer. As anyone knows, that's torture knowing it's sittting somewhere where anything might happen to it. On 1 -21-10 Barry called me and said he was on his way. He expected to be in Michigan on 1-26-10. Barry was very friendly and kept in contact with me along the way, and I am thankful for that. He ended up having to deliver one more car than what he had planned for, and then had to pickup 1 or 2 more before he showed up at my house on 1-27-10. So, from pickup to delivery was 16 days. The car is burgandy in color, and when it arrived it was literally and completely a gray white, covered with salt and road grim and oil from a leaking Tahoe overhead. Barry apologized for it being filthy. He was very friendly and seemed to be a very nice guy. If Barry would have washed the car off before he arrived, we would have been happier with F&S Auto Carriers. It took my husband and I three hours of washing it in our heated garage in order to make it clean enough to be burgandy again. I'd probably give these guys another try sometime, and just hope for summer transport times.
