An excellent transport experience

I had entered my contact information on one of those online request sites to request quotes for transporting a vehicle. As a result, Federal Auto Shipping replied, along with about 20 other brokers/carriers. I read the reviews on this site of several of the brokers/carriers and Federal Auto Shipping was the only one to have all 5 star reviews. FAS didn't have the lowest quote, but the extreme satisfaction displayed by other reviewers convinced me to allow them to schedule the movement of my car.

Alan Gold explained the booking procedures, inquired as to whether or not I had actually inspected the vehicle, and when I wanted the car delivered. I originally called FAS to arrange to for POSSIBLE shipping of my car, as I was going to inspect it for potential sale, but I didn't know if I would actually need their services. Alan allowed me to book a pickup reservation with the option to cancel it if I didn't need their services. I ended up buying the car and made arrangements to have the car moved from Atlanta to Fayetteville, NC. Alan kept me informed during the entire booking process. He even called me late Sunday evening when he had a covered carrier in the area where my car was located. That arrangement fell through and FAS booked with DRWJ Auto Transport, out of Waldorf, Md. Dee Warren contacted me and the seller to arrange pickup of my car and kept me informed when he left Atlanta and when he was an hour away from my home. Mr. Warren was very personable and caring about my car.
Overall, my experience with Federal Auto Shipping and DRWJ Auto Transport was outstanding. I would definitely recommend each to anyone needing auto transportation services.
