I moved for a new job from Minneapolis, MN to Palo Alto, CA. So to move my car, I was originally quoted 852 online and ended up being charged 850. C.J. was my primary contact and said he could give me a better rate than the initial quote, so I was pretty happy at that point. The pickup driver was on time and the driver was actually able to pick it up the very last day I was in Minneapolis. Again, pretty happy so far.

After I flew out to California and a week later the driver was about to drop off the car, he called me to verify that I was prepared for the 650 COD. I was never informed about COD so I promptly called C.J. and tried to see what was going on. He told me that the driver does need the COD for the car and he would refund 650 from the initial 850 I was charged. I also told him that I did not feel comfortable paying the 650 to the driver until I had the 650 refunded to the credit card account. Since this was occurring on a Friday, the refund could not be processed in time. So C.J. sent me the receipt of the refund and assured me that everything was going to work out. Then, I ended up scrambling around to get the cash in time (that's a completely different story though..)

So I got the cash and was able to get my car from the driver. The driver was pretty cool and I was surprised how quick he was able to get the car out here. Kudos to that guy, but he's not my problem.

Now, it's been a month and a half and I still have not seen the refund posted on my credit card. I have been pretty good about asking C.J. every 7-10 days about the status. Last week, I sent him a finial notice via email that if i did not see the refund, I would be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau and starting to take legal action. In the past 24 hours I have tried to call him 3 times. The first time he picked up and said that he was on the road and would call me back with a status update when he got back. That phone call never came and I get sent to voice mail every time I call him now.

Overall, I feel scammed. I would certainly pay more to use a different company next time.
