Frank's Transport was quick and efficient. They charged 875.00 and that was the price when we were all finished. I had to pay an initial 150.00 to Frank's payable by credit card on line, and 675.00 to the trucking company when the car arrived. This was payable by cash or certified check. Initially I contacted several companies who gave me estimates on-line. Many did not answer the phone, I had to leave messages and it took hours to days to get a call back. Before hiring Franks I chose a lesser expensive company who charged 750.00. Although they were easy to reach whenever I called, after two weeks, no trucker had offered to take my car. This company offered to increase the price of the job by decreasing his broker fee and when that didn't work he suggested I try U-haul it, a self serve company where you deal directly with the truckers yourself. I was not interested. I wanted to know that the truckers were reliable and honest and I think going through the broker is a comfortable method. I also think it is important to ask if the broker you are dealing with has his own trucks. Frank's answered the phone and within 36 hours my car was on it's way. Within a few hours of my request I had a call that a trucker was interested in my car. That one fell through because he was too far from my home town, but by the next day another trucker was ready to take it. He was very reliable and called my twice in two hours to insure the meeting time and place were all set. The car arrived in Colorado when expected and the driver called at the other end two days ahead to confirm the pick up. FRank called to confirm after the car was delivered. I would definitely use them again.
