A terrible company to 'try' and do business with. Apart from being quoted one amount only to have the associate call me a few days later telling me that he made a mistake and he had to charge me more in order to ship my tv, the most concerning issue is the lack of transparency they offer to customers. They advised me how to pack my tv to make it secure. I took it a step further and wrapped it in several blankets before packing it in an industrial tv box.

Because the new quote allowed a certain amount of weight to be shipped, I included a few boxes of clothes to be shipped along with the tv. UPS came to collect the shipment and refused to take the tv, stating that TV's are one of the items on their DO NOT SHIP list. I was not at the point of origin so the boxes of clothes were collected and the tv left behind. I called Freight Center the next morning to see what happened and how they were going to resolve this issue.

Long story short, no one in management would return my calls so I had to speak with the associate who told me he had no authority to do anything different but apologized saying, "I wasn't aware of UPS's restrictions". I paid over $750 to ship a few boxes of clothes and this company would not do anything to try and resolve this to ensure a satisfied customer. Their customer service is atrocious, with upper management not having the common decency to return calls.

I contacted the Better Business Bureau but they too were not able to get any sort of accountability. Freight Center quoted 'Federal Regulation Codes' to try and relinquish themselves of any accountability.

I will never do business with this company again. They are thieves and extremely unprofessional. Since this ordeal, I have found several other companies that broker shipping who are conscientious of building a faithful and satisfied customer base.

Do not use this company unless you want to be cheated and disregarded as a paying client.
