They represent themselves as truck owner-operators but in fact they brokered this haul to another carrier. Maybe that was to meet our requested pickup time as perhaps they didn't have one of their own trucks available for my time frame. I did learn from the driver the only reason he accepted the amount of money to be paid to him was that he was putting his truck in for some major repairs and had to be back on the East coast. So he accepted my auto to complete the load. He said any other time he would have waited for a couple hundred dollars more. Its always interesting to learn all the facts. Froland represents themselves NOT as auto brokers. In this case they acted as a broker. I won't say they were dishonest but they did not perform according to their sales pitch. The driver who picked up the car was great. I would recommend him anytime and I would use Froland again. But next time I will know alot more about what they are talking about.
